How bad do you have to pee?
At my work we have a women’s, a men’s, and a one person family bathroom. I personally don’t use the family one, it kind of freaks me out for some reason. It almost feels too big. (side story someone passed away in there but I don’t think that is the problem.
Anyways back to the whole point. I have seen multiple times where people go to use the family bathroom and they DO NOT knock. What is with that?? I have also heard multiple stories of people being walked in on. Which is another problem entirely. You have your pants down and you don’t lock the door? What a risk my friend what a risk.
For the past two days I have seen the same guy go to use this family bathroom and he doesn’t jiggle the handle as a test. He full leans in on the door and the handle. If the door wasn’t locked (yes both times it had been locked) he then would just be in there with them. It reminds me of the old vine 5 feet apart cuz they’re not gay. Except in this case it is the two new friends in the same bathroom, one with pants on and one with pants off. What a cool way to hang out!
The whole concept just baffles me. On one hand you could knock, is that too embarrassing to you, and low key startle the person in the bathroom. On the other you both get to be embarrassed with the door not being locked and you not knocking. You get to have that never to be talked about new situationship with them for ever knowing one might have seen business and the other having their business being seen. Amazing.
I don’t get the draw of the one person bathroom if you aren’t having an incident. Even if you have to poop. You are in a stall and in your own privacy that way. If you make a noise people aren’t going to know who it is. They gonna check? They gonna wait for you to come out?…. ok granted I did hear someone playing a music video in the stall next to me, no headphones obviously, so I waited to see. That is besides the point!!
Oh and don’t get me started on people not washing their hands. I get it there are some people that only wash when others are there to see them and I don’t like that but at least I can live just “not knowing.” The people that blatantly don’t wash is crazy! One woman works self check out and I watched her touch the tops of the kids drink bottles since they had characters on them. Now they are just going to put those in their mouths!!!
